What Did China Accomplish at the Belt and Road Forum?

At the Belt and Road Forum were present 30 leaders and official government representatives from all over the world. In his speeches, President Xi highlighted that during the course of the forum a total of 68 countries and international organizations signed agreements. Key focus areas include industrial development, financial integration and reform, and infrastructure construction. Aside from the economic underpinnings of the Belt and Road Initiative, Xi called for mutual respect and non-interference, as well as settling differences through political dialogue. We will check the concrete results in 2019 during the next BRF.
