Expert in geopolitical and strategic studies, he has authored many articles and publications, turning him into an expert on the Italian and international level. Consultant of large private and public companies, he is member of the academic committees and working groups of the European Union and the UN.
He currently teaches International Relations at the Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of International and Diplomatic Sciences of Trieste University, Gorizia Branch.
He gained extensive experience in the fields of terrorism, guerrilla warfare and peace-keeping. He was responsible for UNIDO's training project for diplomatic and ministerial managers in Iraq.
Commentator and analyst for various newspapers, television and the web media on themes of geopolitics and international strategy. He writes on national and international magazines and newspapers. Frequently interviewed on the main national newspapers, he also collaborates with ISP, he is the academic director of the Istituto Italiano of Strategic Studies IISS N. Machiavelli, in 2013 he founded in Venice the 'ASCE School of International Economic Competition'.
A colleague and friend of Edward Luttwak, with whom he has written essays on the strategies of globalization, he cooperates with the Center for Strategic Studies in Washington. He is also author of monographs on China's entry into the World Trade Organization and Network Management / ICANN and on the definition of pan-European transport corridors. Since 2006, he has been teaching at the Interforces Police School, for the Ministry of the Interior, in Rome on Crime and Transnational Terrorism.
